Mimi was a TechCrunch Disrupt  Battlefield 2014 finalist in New York City, made it 2nd at the world largest pitch competition at WebSummit 2014 in Dublin and made it 1st in the Music Discovery Category at Midem Competition in Cannes 2016.
Your tasks
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f) with a passion for mobile technology, hardware and music. You will analyze and evaluation business opportunities and sell our technology to new partners from the hardware-, software-, music- and health industry worldwide.  

As our Business Development Manager (m/f) you will: 
  • Proactively manage the whole sales-cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing deals with partners worldwide to license our technology. 
  • Plan and represent Mimi at relevant industry events worldwide. 
  • Find, evaluate and execute new business opportunities by always being at the forefront and keeping track of relevant technology and market developments 
  • Build up, improve and maintain our sales infrastructure (e.g. CRM tools, price lists, presentations ) according to changes in product, price and customer requirements. 
  • Align customer needs with our Marketing, Product, Development Team on a continuous basis.
  • Work within a growing Business Development Team and the Managing Director. 
  • Impact an untapped market and experience the development of a truly innovative product and company.
  • Gain hands-on entrepreneurial experience in a fast moving technology company located in the heart of Berlin-Mitte.
  • At least 1-2 years experience in Technology Sales or Business Development 
  • Excellent customer relationship skills: communication, empathy, integrity 
  • Experience with CRM tools and processes, KPI reporting and project management
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Fluent in English (company language is English). Fluency in other languages is a plus, especially in German 
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Communication, Marketing - but also a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Audio Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience is interesting.
