Mimi was a TechCrunch Disrupt  Battlefield 2014 finalist in New York City, made it 2nd at the world largest pitch competition at WebSummit 2014 in Dublin and made it 1st in the Music Discovery Category at Midem Competition in Cannes 2016.
Your tasks
We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager (m/f) with a passion for mobile technology, hardware and music. You will closely work together with the Head of Business Development and the Managing Director and sell our technology to new partners from the hardware-, software-, music- and health industry, among them some of the largest tech companies worldwide.

As our Senior Business Development Manager you will: 
  • Proactively manage the whole scale-cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing deals with partners worldwide to license our technology. 
  • Recruit, structure and grow our Business Development Team. 
  • Represent Mimi at relevant industry events worldwide.
  • Align customer needs with our Marketing, Product, Development Team on a continuous basis. 
  • Work within a growing Business Development Team and the Managing Director. 
  • Impact an untapped market and experience the development of a truly innovative product and company.
  • Gain hands-on entrepreneurial experience in a fast moving technology company located in the heart of Berlin-Mitte.
Requirements
  • Full sales-cycle management skills, from prospecting to negotiation and closing
  • 4+ years experience in Licensing, Technology Sales or Business Development in an international and fast growing (consumer electronics, music or health) technology company 
  • Extensive experience in leadership and team management roles 
  • The ability to recognize organizational, financial, and technical structures and obstacles in OEMs, consumer electronics and audio tech companies. 
  • Experience working with marketing, business, and product teams to align on changing customer needs.
  • Have a proven track record of working towards strategic goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You have the wisdom to know when to shift priorities.Degree in Business, 
  • Economics, Communication, Marketing - but also a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Audio Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience is interesting.
  • Fluent in English (company language is English). Fluency in other languages is a plus, especially in German

  • Are highly motivated and communicative, very agile in handling business and have strong execution skills. 
  • You stay motivated in closing partnerships over a longer period of time 
  • Have strong organization and prioritization skills as well as outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be open to a very agile environment, to new industries and business models and clients with very diverse cultural backgrounds.
